From William Nast's ministry to the German-speaking settlers throughout the Midwest to the present, Barbara Dixon brings us a dynamic history of the German Methodist Episcopal Church through her personal research, travels, and excerpts from the diaries of her grandfather, Theodore Rudin, a German Methodist minister from 1898 until 1934, as he traveled throughout the Central German Conference. Divided into four districts, this history covers churches in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, along with many photographs of existing churches and those no longer used by this ministry.
